Choose a spread and hold your question in mind. Shuffle as many times as feels right, or not at all, then pull the cards one at a time. Every finished reading goes into your journal.
The deck is a real, ordered deck of all 78 cards, each lying upright or reversed. Shuffle puts the cards still in the deck into a new random order and turns each one upright or reversed at random, using your browser’s cryptographic random number generator. Cards you have already pulled stay where they are in the spread, out of the deck, so you can shuffle between pulls. That order then stays exactly as it is until the next shuffle, even if you close the page and come back. Pull deals the top card into the next position of the spread you chose. New reading puts the pulled cards back under the deck without shuffling, so if you choose not to shuffle, your next reading comes off the same deck in the same order. For the Celtic Cross, the Significator you choose is taken out of the deck first, as Waite describes, and the rest keep their order.
Every order of the deck is equally likely, and nothing the site knows about you changes the odds or the wording. The spread you choose changes where the cards land, never which cards come.
Every card here has a sample reading written for this demo: upright and reversed, in love, for work and money, and what is in the picture, with Waite’s 1911 meaning kept underneath. Every pair of cards has its own reading too. On a live site the reader edits these or replaces them with their own words, card by card, and can rename any spread position and write what it means to them.
